Will your iPhone 5s or 5C work with 4G in India ?

Airtel has launched 4G in India.  But in the market there only few smartphones or devices support 4G. iPhone is one of the smartphones which support. But do you think your iphone will work with Airtel 4G? iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus support 4G. But condition is you must have purchased these iPhone from Apple Store in India. It should not be imported to India.

Yes, you read it right. If you have someone has gifted you iPhone from Outside India, 4G will not work on that iPhone. Reason is 4G is India having different frequency than other countries. Because of frequency mismatch 4G will not work in imported models of iPhone.

If you want to check whether your iPhone is compatible to Indian 4G, then just check the model number of iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c at the back. In case of iPhone 5s, it should be A1530 and in case of iPhone 5c, it should be A1529, only then 4G will work in India in your iPhone. If it is something else, there are chances that Airtel 4G will not work.

In India, Airtel has launched  4G service at 2300 MHz. Very soon, Reliance 4G is going to be launched and everyone is expecting that Reliance 4G will work with all iPhone models no matter from these have been purchased  because Reliance is expected to launch 4G at the frequency of 1800 MHz.

Last week, on thursday, Apple Developer website was intruded. Apple informed via email to its members that

" Last Thursday, an intruder attempted to secure personal information of our registered developers from our developer website. Sensitive personal information was encrypted and cannot be accessed, however, we have not been able to rule out the possibility that some developers’ names, mailing addresses, and/or email addresses may have been accessed. In the spirit of transparency, we want to inform you of the issue. We took the site down immediately on Thursday and have been working around the clock since then.
In order to prevent a security threat like this from happening again, we’re completely overhauling our developer systems, updating our server software, and rebuilding our entire database. We apologize for the significant inconvenience that our downtime has caused you and we expect to have the developer website up again soon."

jailbreak iphone without cydia

Yes, you read it correct. It is possible to jailbreak your phone without cydia. I wanted to jailbreak my iphone  and never wanted to install Cydia because Cydia takes space on iphone which may create problem for those who have 8GB iphone. Generally after jailbreak iOS 5.1.1, 8gb iphone gives error of "DISK SPACE Full". To avoid this error, I jailbroke my iphone without installing Cydia. I searched a lot on internet, but there was no solution. So, I thought of an experiment. I downloaded latest Redsn0w and during Jailbreak, I unchecked the option "install Cydia". and That's it. My iphone was jailbroken. But now the problems I faced were 1. I was not able to install any .deb file 2. I was not able to install .ipa file.

Installing Android on iPhone

Its really amazing to change the default operating system of iPhone i.e. iOS. I tried it my self on my iPhone. And now I will share the way I did it.

My iPhone was having iOS 5.1.1 which is the latest one. So, first thing I had to do is to downgrade the operating system of iPhone to iOS 4.1.
Actually the software pack available to install Android on iPhone supports upto iOS 4.1, 4.2. That is why I had to downgrade the iOS. It was very tedious task for me as I was doing it for the first time.
You can also find the steps to downgrade very easily using Google. Its an art to downgrade iOS.

Secure your privacy while using iPhone and Android Apps

Today everyone around us is fan of touchscreen mobile phones. Everybody wants to buy a touchscreen phone whether its Android phone or Apple Iphone. In last few years these 2 big sharks have removed all other mobile technologies from the market. Apple's phone is quite popular now along with Samsung phones. Android phones are becoming cheaper and cheaper day by day. Lots of free applications are available for both Android phones and Apple iPhones. In youth, apps specially related to free sms and callings are quite popular. These apps offers most of the times Free SMS or Free Calling features where on both sides same application is installed. And even offer to check which of your friends have installed the same app by accessing your phone book. Do you know how really these apps works?
